The best way to fight the summer heat is with a handful of delicious ice cream. While we won’t be learning how to make ice cream, we will be learning how to illustrate it. In this tutorial, we’re going to create a colorful ice cream seamless pattern using simple geometric shapes and handy functions in Adobe Illustrator.

Looks more like an ice lolly (I think popsicle is the USA translation)

did you want a critique of some sort, or are you just posting this for views?

a couple of things I'd do differently after skimming through half of it:

- use global swatches for your base lolly colours so you can easily change them later

- use Multiply for the darker patches to save you picking new colours each time you change your base colour
