I have a plugin that does something like that. You can do this:

• Get the BBAccumRotation value discussed recently
• Temporarily rotate the art back to normal
• Now get the art bounds
• Rotate that back per the BBAccumRotation value
• Use annotations to draw the new control box

You will also have to draw each of the control buttons, test for hits in each of them, change the cursor to something appropriate, etc.

Which version do you use?

In the newest versions you already always get the shown (second) blue control box.
