How to know if a font is an Adobe font? (so it's free to use without commercial license)

I'm interested in fornt I found in Adobe fonts drop-down list but not sure if I can use it to design logo for my customer.

Is there any symbol or sign that shows a font is free to use in any condition?

In Illustrator, if you see "Cloud icon with a small tick in a corner," then it is an Adobe Font. Also, you can click on the same icon in the Characters menu to filter and see all your activated Adobe Fonts. You can also get more Adobe fonts by clicking the "Find More" option in the Characters menu.

The general rule for using Adobe Fonts is that as long as you have a Creative Cloud subscription you can use any Adobe Fonts for commercial use. However, unlike fonts such as Open Type you cannot collect them when you package the job and send a copy of the font to a vendor. In order for the vendor to output your job with the necessary Adobe Fonts they must also have a Creative Cloud subscription which gives them access to use the font for output.

There are some typefaces that are created for the exclusive use of a particular client.

For instance, GE has their own font called GE inspira, McDonald's has their own font, A&E Network has their own font.

Using those for anything other than mtaerial for that specific client is outside their EULA license and can land you in trouble.

A company that I worked for many years ago had McDonald's as a regional client, and the typeface package we received was very strictly defined as to be only used on their material. We didn't DARE use it anywhere else.
