I am trying to make a shape similar to this. I want it to be a donut shape with different sized pieces based on some data that I have, adding up to a whole. How do I do this?

I've tried using the warp tool, but it doesn't seem to work because it only adds up to half a circle.

Sure the warp tool won't work.

You have to do it the other way round. Start with a circle and then cut it apart.

Or start with a circle diagram and then expand it and round the corners.

id make the graph in apple numbers so you can just add and amend the data easily, then export to pdf and tart it up in illustrator.
