How to make a font!

Hi guys, I want to try to make my handwriting into a font and I'm completely clueless on how to. Ive tried calligraphr but I wasnt able to download or share the font... Can any of you guys show me how to do it with adobe?

Calligraphr says it offers TTF and OTF files. If you can't access these, perhaps you should contact them.

I think the simplest way to create fonts in Illustrator is using Fontself . It's not free but is inexpensive and easy to pick up.

I tried using calligraphr yesterday but had trouble sharing the font once it was created. I posted the link on a blog and people were having trouble importing the font and once I got it to work for myself the special characters were just blank boxes. I will try contacting them or emailing for support. Also will try fontself, thank you so much for the reply and help.

Adobe has no dedicated font creation tool. The typical workflow is to draw the contours in Illustrator and then import them into a font creation tool like the free FontForge or commercial offerings like FontLab/ Fontographer.
