How to make a glow logo transparent

Hi, I am struggling to make a glowing logo transparent. Here is a file I found online and I want to remove the black edges. Thank you!!

This could be a gradient mesh. You can edit the mesh nodes by selecting them with the direct selection tool and again try Select > Same > fill color to select all same colored.

Thank you for the video! It should work that way but when I click on a glowing object to change the gradient, it doesn't show the adjustable colors.

The object you selected looks like a blend. There seems to a gazillion blends in this artwork. So what you can do is try and select one of the shapes with the direct selection tool, then Select same fill color and change them all at once.

Thank you! I couldnt find out how to do as you explained but I had to edit one by one, by selecting objects with selection tool and then edit gradient. It took time but it worked.

Update: I was able to eliminate the black part of the glowing ellipses but not from the circles because they are a different kind of object. Do you have an idea how to edit color of those circles?
