Okay so this is a question I have for making uniformal shapes in Illustrator.
So for example: I've made a simple, square cross, and would like to give each side of it a uniformingly sharp pointed edge. How can I:
A. Create an Anchorpoint at EXACTLY the middle of the side of one of the Cross' flat ends so I can move it up into a sharp and EVEN triangle shape?
Then
B. Duplicate that to the other 3 sides in a manner that makes them perfectly even?

Draw 2 simple strokes to create your cross.
In the stroke panel, make sure that you are showing options. If not, then click on the hamburger menu to show them.
Now with your cross selected, go to the stroke panel and look at the Profile drop down list. Select "width profile 3". This should change your stroke to have a pointy sharp edge.

Another way to do thsi is by making a tessalaltion if you are familiar with MC Escher.
Reduce your cross to 1/4 of. the shape using add anchor point adn deltreing points. Effect >> transform
