How to mirror a group of logos and not make them backwards?

I'm designing the vinyl wrap for a competition race car at my university, but I'm a bit new to using Illustrator. I've finished one side, complete with the graphic design and sponsor logos. The other side is supposed to look the exact same and just be a mirror image, but of course when I reflect everything vertically the sponsor logos get flipped too, making them backwards and unreadable. Is there a way I can flip everything around, but keep the logos readable? Or will I have to do this all by hand?

You will have to flip parts of the design and other parts you just duplicate and move.

Of course this is a manual approach.

edit: alternatively you could first flip the complete design, then select the logos and use Object > Transform > Transform Each to flip them back. But likely you will have to adjust them after that.

You can put the text on a separate layer from the blue corner element. Then only flip the blue... you can lock the text layer to be sure that it won't flip when you transform.

Did you use separate layers and lock the text?


I used Monika's suggestion of flipping the complete design, then individually flipping the logos back one by one.
