Hi guys,

I'm new here, and just can't figure it out on how to do this:

I want to take many rectangles (Same size) with different text inside them (grouped to the rectangle), and just snap them to anchors or points of a circle object, so they will snap into the point and change rotation towards its middle...

As you can see in my example: I want to take picture with text 4 and snap it on the outside circle so that 1 edge will touch the circle and the end edge will auto rotate towards the middle circle..

Appreciate any help, thanks ❤️

PS: I tried a few methods but I didn't understand well on how to use them for my advantage, I tried to use blend, I tried to use anchors snapping, I tried to use alignment, but I'm missing something and I think it might be much more complicated then that...

It's an Adobe illustrator  plugin by  sold by  Astute Graphics  for about $20

it improves snapping greatly.

Yeroslav,

Presuming that the text is completely within the rectangle, Smart Guides being your friends one way could be to:

1) Create the basic rectangle, then add an Anchor Point at the middle of the top segment of the rectangle, then work on copies;

For each rectangle:

2) Add the text, select both, and Ctrl/Cmd+G to Group;

3) Deselect and ClickDrag by the top midpoint to snap to the top Anchor Point of the circle;

4) Switch to the Rotate Tool, then click the circle centre (center), then rotate round the centre by the desired angle.

Thanks for response,

I understand how to rotate each, but I have many circles with many cards in each (1 circle has 64 cards, another 32, and 16 and so on...)

I'm looking for auto rotate after snapping solution if possible.

For an automatic solution you could try if the plugin ColliderScribe helps.
