how to move the center point of an object

Hi,

i have an offcenter design which i want to reflect on a specific location

how do i move the center point of the object without moving the entire object?

Correct answer hammer0909

Select the object with the Selection tool. Now select the Reflect tool, click once to establish the transformation point, then reflect the object based on that point. As was said previously, you can also option / alt + click to establish the point of transformation and then enter the reflect values.

Select the object, select the transform tool, press ALT and click on the point that you want as center of transformation

You can only do that for symbols.

But when using one of the transform tools you can set the centre of transform:
