I just wanted to find out how to move over my apps such as illustrator from my old device to a new computer.

It's not a "move over".

You'll have the apps to download & install.

Log in to your account. In the subscription & products section you'll find a download link.

If you have a creative cloud subscription you are allowed to have all of your apps on two computers so all you have to do is log into your account on adobe's website, using your new computer, and download the Creative Cloud Desktop app. Once that is in place launch it and go to the apps section and install whatever apps you wish.
