How to remove custom PDF presets in Adobe Illustrator 24.3 on macOS Catalina

Over the years I've added a few PDF presets when saving as a PDF. Most of these are now redundant and I'd like to remove them to stop causing confusion.

Many answers are for older OS and Illustrator versions and don't seem to work. I'm runninc macOS 10.15.6 (19G2021) and Illustrator 24.3 (Most up-to-date with CC).

Any help is appreciated.

To remove custom PDF preset in Adobe Illustrator 27.1 on MacOS Ventura, click Option>Go Menu>Library>Application Support>Adobe PDF>Settings and you'll see your custom PDF presets.  Select and delete the settings you'd like to remove.
