How to save a high resolution .png

I am new to all of this but I am running into the problem of after I have created my vector images and save them as .jpg or .png to be used in an e-mail signature it turns out very pixelated. I understand the vector vs. bit-map issue, but I can't seem to find the right setting to allow my created images to not end up distorted.

Resolution is the key, you need "more pixels".

First don't scale up when placing the signature, as it reduces their resolution.

When exporting as JPG in Ai, try to change Options for Resolution, form 72ppi to 300 or a custom value.

In Export for Screens or Export Selection when saving assets, you cn use 2x or other multiple. Those scalinmg is applied on vectorial artwork, then when placed in you email you will to scale down their size.
