How to save brushes from Illustrator in Creative Cloud?

Hi! How could I save brushes that I made in Illustrator, like scatter, image, pattern brushes in Creative Cloud Libraries for future use? I did try to save them as an .ai file and then upload them, but it doesn't seem to work ok. Do I need to make them 9-slice-scaling or what?

You can drag Illustrator files from the desktop to an open library, but that does not make it easy to use your brushes in other documents.

You can apply the brushes to objects and drag the objects to a library.

Drag them with the Alt key pressed from the library to other documents to add them to the brushes panel (and delete the dragged object).

There is no way to save them to CC Libraries as brushes specifically.

You can save objects with the brushes applied. When you bring the object into another Illustrator document (placing a copy, or alt-drag to the artboard), the brush will add itself to the document brushes.
