CC Libraries are used to share assets between desktop apps and mobile apps, BUT you can only go from Draw on the iPad to Illustrator on a computer. It's not possible to send a file from Illustrator to Adobe Draw.

One year later nothing has changed. (If you were asking, not sure).

‌Creative Cloud convert an Illustrator file (.ai) to an image rendition for on mobile devices. In Draw, tap on the photo layer to access Creative Cloud files, and select the .ai file. Creative Cloud will generate a high res image that is compatible with Adobe Illustrator Draw. This is not an editable vector file, but hopefully it is still useful.

This is why I was trying to consider the iPad draw scenario. And sadly, while I grew up on pc's, I have everything Mac, and to use it for just surfing and the wire framing with the pencil tool while I'm out at a coffee shop, it would save me the time and headache of bringing over countless papers that take up a table knowing I could accidentally spill on the paper and ruin everything. While I know it's all marketing, I do like how mac work with mac...at times, but I feel for the following point below, and my need, it may work for what I'm looking to do...thoughts?

This is what I was seeking, as I have an illustrator file that has 4 mobile outlines, leaving the internal window completely blank, where I can then draw with the pencil tool, saving countless books and paper / eraser scenario's and just create layer upon layer of user flows within the mobile template I created, and how the app I'm building out should work, and then once I'm happy with the files, and flows per sections etc, I wanted to toss them back over to Illustrator to clean up and then build out in XD... Does that seem doable? and thank as well for your response. I do hear more and more about the surface pro. Maybe I will do some research first before hopping on an iPad pro. Cheers

Hey! One year later I’m facing the same scenario... want to open an illustrator file in a painting program in iPad Pro, don’t mind if in rastered format. The problem is still there... although better than a couple of years ago, workflow on iPad isn’t smooth and seamless... usually I need to jump from computer to iPad, back and forth to make assets  ready to use in different apps. Anyway, i’m Absolutely happy to work inside the iPad/iPhone ecosystem... they are not computer replacements, but are light, fast and versatile tools to catch ideas and concepts on the fly, and reuse them in a mirad of ways over your Mac or PC...

Currently I use iPad Pro, both for graphic design/illustration and UX/UI wireframing. Even I use note apps for sketching and Write ideas, and lot of mind-mapping programs to visually structure hierarchy and navigation through complex web apps and sites.
