How to set up Artboards for 8pp a4 booklet

Im trying to figure out how to set up my artboards on Illustrator for an 8 page a4 booklet, can someone help please? It will be printed

You might want to consider using InDesign for this.

In addition to what Monika said, the best choice of (final) application depends on the actual (nature of the) contents, especially whether predominantly artwork (drawn/hand written) or typed (fonts).
