Hi,

I've added the open-soursed HarmonyOS Sans font library on my macOS, but this font cannot be activated on Illustrator even it's in the font list:

After I've seletcte the HarmonyOS Sans, the Chinese text still looked like Adobe 宋体 Std L

What makes you think that font has Chinese characters in it?

If Illustrator has Glyph protection turned on, your Chinese text is being replaced with whatever font it can find to maintain the correct Chinese characters, since Harmont does not have them. If your turned Glyph Protection, off, you'd get blank/nonsense characters.

Hi Brad,

Thanks for your tip!

The same font worked for the plantUML thus I thought it would be work for Illustrator too.

I installed another font HarmonyOS_Sans_SC_Regular.ttf, it worked!.
