Could some please explain to me in the most basic terms or even send me a link to a video showing how to use plugins? I have purchased a plugin that can be used in photoshop and illustrator and it says its installed when logged into my accout, but I have not got a clue what to do next!!! I want to use the plugin to get an effect on some artwork but I have never did this before. Can someone please help me out here? Txs

Correct answer Doug A Roberts

Hi Doug, yes, I checked my download folder and there is nothing there, so I assumed it was automatically installed once I had been prompted to close all adobe programs and re-open. Also, because it says installed in 'manage plugins' in my creative cloud, I again assumed it was automatically installed. I feel like I am being stupid, but I am at a complete loss. I have never used plugins before but have used downloaded actions and styles so I thought it would be similar. Is there a tutorial for beginners that explains how to use plugins?

This 'plugin' does nothing but download a zip file. There is no 'installation' except that. I tried it myself. A tutorial on plugins won't help you. If nothing downloaded, you should try again.

What is the plugin and what did you do to install it?

Its a brick wall texture, I followed the instruction and restarted my adobe programs. I just dont know how to actually use it or even find it in photoshop or illustrator. (pic attached)
