Hello everyone,

I have a question about how to use patterns that I made in Adobe Capture in Adobe Illustrator. My patterns are automatically synced from my Adobe Capture library, but I have no idea how I can use those to fill up a drawn shape in Illustrator.

Can someone help me?

Capture patterns are image based patterns, and unfortunately not the vector kind that's preferred in Illustrator.

But Illustrator can also use patterns based on images.

Alt drag the pattern from your library to an Illustrator document (make sure the pattern image is embedded).

Use Object > Pattern > Make to create the pattern.

Good news! With the latest version of Adobe Capture, you can now create vector pattern tiles that are infinitely scalable with the ability to change their colors. Introducing the April Release of Capture CC | Adobe Blog
