I can't drag objects or points/handles the transform box opens over the top of everything.

Sorry, I need bigger text. I just got a new computer with two touch screens and a pen. I am now able to draw in Illustrator with my pen and fingers, and not a mouse anymore. Yeah, that is hard, but I was good at it (25 years)! To my point, I can't pick up and drag any objects, points, or handles without this transform box with all the scale, reflect, and so on and so forth. Before, the only way it opened was if I went to the top nav bar and found it under object. I want it to go back to that; I don't want it to pop up every time I touch my pen to my screen. I am not even clicking the side buttons as I don't hold my pen there. That takes special thought, as I am still very new to using a pen.  How do I turn this off? Please help me! Thank you in Advance!!!! I added an image below because I don't worry about learning the proper names of things. I just know where to find them. In case you are wondering I have been using Creative Suite since 2005. I just didn't like the old tablets and finally got around to getting a tablet/laptop that I love. Now the learning starts all over again.

It looks like you are in Isolation mode by right or control clicking your object.

Select Exit Isolation Mode to continue normal working.

I might have been when I took the screenshot. I didn't look at where I was; I just wanted to show the box that was opening. I work both in and out of isolation mode, and that isn't what is causing the transform box to open. It opens when my pen or finger touches the screen. There is a wrong setting in Illustrator. I purposely love to work in isolation mode all the time, because it lets me do things that are harder outside of it. But that is not what is causing my problem.

What exactly do you mean by "Transform Box"? Some modal dialog? Or something else?

In your screenshot I cannot see anything like that.

Can you clarify and show this "Transform Box"?
