I can't find bullet and number in Illustrator

Hi everyone, I need help with the bullet and number insert in Illustrator. As you can see from the picture, it is empty and I cannot reset nor add anything to the bullet and number menu.

I try to do it manually way by creating a paragraph style but it also disappears whenever I close the app and open it the next day. 

I hope someone can help me, this problem started after I installed/deleted something else on my laptop.
