Question

I cant click and drag things in illustrator. It makes a ding sound whenever I try to.

Im using Adobe Illustor 2020, and I cannot move objects. Everything is Updated, also to note I am on a school computer so I do not have admin privilages.

    WHat is selected? Maybe some objects that are close to the document edges?

    Sorry to hear about this trouble. I agree with Monika, there might be some dialog box which is open and is out of your screen. If you are using a multiple screen system, please check if there is any panel is open.

    There isnt a dialog box, I tried hitting escape but it doesnt work.

    Have you restarted the computer or resetting the illustrator prefs?

    I've tried restarting the computer but not the preferences, I'm not sure how to do that.

    I would rename the folder as described in here

    And you are sure that no dialog box is open?

    Can you try and click Esc?

    I tried clicking Esc but it doesnt do anything.
