I'm unable to make a 3d revolve

When I'm applying 3d revolve effect on a semi circle, the circle is totally black and it is not showing th 3d effect on the circle.

It may also be worth opening up the more options and playing around with the settings to get your prefered look.

Try to set the stroke color to none (or something else than black).
