If I have Illustrator for my iPad, but will the same membership work on my iMac?

I recently bought a new iPad and started an Illustrator membership for doing design work for my business. Would the same membership allow me to use it on my iMac too? Obviously, I don't want to pay for a secondary membership (and can't afford to), but there may be some functions that would work better on my iMac. Any info would be appreciated!

Did you license just the iPad version?

Or is this a full Illustrator subscription that also includes the desktop version?

The iPad version of course won't run on your iMac.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. In addition to the response given by Monika, I'd request you to check out this FAQ to know more about Adobe Illustrator on iPad membership and more.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Ashutosh

There are 3 ways to license Illustrator on the iPad: you can license the iPad version and then you have only that.

You license the desktop version and then you have the iPad version too.

You license "Creative Cloud All apps" and then you have all the apps and their iPad versions (if those exist).

Which subscription do you have?

desktop version currectly is 23 US$ per month

If you are paying way less, then you probably do not have the desktop version.
