This problem When I update illustrator form 2011 to 2022, the "Smart guides" is not working.

Is there any way to do in Illustrator?

Maolii Hsu,

Just in any case:

Are Smart Guides on, and are both Snap To Grid and Pixel Preview off?

If either is on, Smart Guides will fail to guide you, however smart they are.

You need to give us a more detailed description of what is or is not happening..? Could be as simple as turning them on..? But we don't know what to suggest if you don't give us any clue to the problem..?

Well, apparently this did not solve my issue so I will post my current experience.  Yes, it is probably a matter of just turning something on - just need to find out where that is.  Thought I had it but I am still not getting the desired result.

What I am used to is the line popping up when I am trying to align two objects together and it snapping at the same height or baseline.  So when I am moving a box a pink(or green) line shows up showing me how it aligns with other objects on the artboard.

I have the options checked in preferences under Smart Guides but they are not showing up for me either.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
