Illustrator 2022 has eliminated my Essentials toolbar?

I cannot get my panel to reappear. I click through every option, and the header illuminates blue as though it recieved the command, but nothing happens.

Please.. please help. Im okay with key commands but not good enough to manage without.

OH! sorry not trying to spam but I also discovered another way to get the essentials and other older workspace menus: Window>toggle Application Frame. =D

hi! I was having this issue also and I'm not sure if you fixed it BUT- I had the idea to use the search feature with "essentials" and one of the options was "essentials classic" I clicked on it and it added the essentials back to my workspace! =D

I can replicate the issue, pretty much all icons disappeared except the new "comments" icon.

do you still have 2021 installed? you can save a custom workspace off of Essentials then copy the custom workspace file from the 2021 Workspaces folder to the 2022 Workspaces folder.

or just recreate it, here's a screenshot of how it looks like
