Illustrator 2022 very slow copying after installing Monterey

Hello,

After installing Monterey last fall, Illustrator has been VERY slow copying large vector files with many objects as compared to before. All software, both system and Illustrator are up to date. Not sure if this is a Monterey problem or an Illustrator problem. I was hoping updates to either one since then would cure the problem but no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated.

• Exact version of the OS and Illustrator
• Are you facing this problem with some specific files? If yes, kindly share the download link to the file here or via DM.
• Does Illustrator crash? If so, please provide the Crash Report.
