Hi, before last 2025 CC apps updates, i used to add pantone colors to illustrator and indesign with pantone connect plug in. But now, the "add color to app swatch" is missing, i don't know why. So my question is, how can i import Pantone TPG colors to illustrator ? Other swatches can be added with old illustrator versions, but not TPG swatches.
Cheers :x

Probably ask Pantone about it. Or in the InDesign forum.

Thank you Monika, I saw the cloud was not synchronysed, maybe when finished synchronysing I'll close Indesign and try if then it appears, because it's installed, should appear. Thank you.

Option 1 worked best for me.
Option 1: Use Adobe's Creative Cloud Pantone Connect Extension (Recommended)
- Open the Extensions Panel:
- Go to Window > Extensions > Find Extensions on Exchange.
- Search for Pantone Connect.
- Click Install (it will install via the Creative Cloud app).
- Activate Pantone Connect:
- Once installed, go to Window > Extensions > Pantone Connect.
- Sign in or create a free Pantone account.
- Search and select Pantone colors to use in your design.
:small_blue_diamond: Note: The free version allows you to find and use Pantone colors manually, while the paid version provides additional features.
Option 2: Import Pantone Colors from an Older AI File
If you have access to an older version of Illustrator (before 2023) or a file with Pantone colors:
- Open an older AI file that contains Pantone colors.
- Go to Window > Swatches.
- Select the Pantone color and Add it to your Swatches panel for future use.
Option 3: Convert Pantone Colors to CMYK/RGB
If you need a Pantone equivalent but don't have access to the official swatches:
- Go to Pantone's website: https://www.pantone.com/color-finder
- Enter the Pantone number you need.
- Get the closest CMYK/RGB/HEX conversion and manually input it into Illustrator.

Option 3 does not work.
You only get screen representations of the swatches, but no numbers.
