Illustrator 2025 - artboard problems

Among other huge issues with basic functiuonality like the pencil/smooth tool, Illustrator 2025 also has a glitch when creating artboards. This is my third occasion since updating where it creates a duplicate artboard 14 and artboard 13 is unable to defined. Voting this as the worst Illustrator update to date. Hope you guys can figure it out cuz this is a bummer!

It happened in all instances of re-ordering artboards in the artboard window panel. i.e. dragging artboard 12 to be 5, etc.

I tried to replicate this behavior on my end but could not. It would really help if you could share a screen recording of your workflow and the problem. Doing this will help me escalate this with the product team and find a solution.

Yes, I had the same problem. I had duplicates—two artboards with the same number—so I wasn't able to print them. I wish I hadn't upgraded, as it is very glitchy. Please fix everything and make it run smoothly like the 2024 version!
