Illustrator 2025 Crashes when opening

Hello,

I have been having issues with Illustrator crashing when I open it. I get nowhere in the app before it creates an error report. I have reset preferences in the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the latest 2025 version, and updated my NVIDIA graphics card to the latest version. Nothing seems to be fixing the issue. I have plenty of space on my C drive too. 

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Are you running the latest version of Windows? If not try updating that and see if it helps.

    Hello, I have auto updates on for windows but I have just double checked and all seems updated. I was using illustrator about a week or two ago so it isn't an issue with laptop capability. Thank you for your help!
