Illustrator 27.6.1 continually crashes when using scroll wheel on mouse (Logitech M705) Windows 10. I needed to go back to 27.5.

I was experiencing the same issue - Illustrator 28.1. I have a very powerful graphics card and should not have had any issues. I had it set on "Preview on CPU" and it froze, lagged on mouse zoom wheel, and when I switched it to "GPU Preview" it fixed all my zooming issues.

Hi @Yorkville - Jb,

I apologize for the delayed response. I understand that you were experiencing crashes in Illustrator 27.6.1 when using the scroll wheel on your Logitech M705 mouse in Windows 10, and you had to revert to version 27.5.

Would you mind providing an update on whether you are still encountering crashes after updating to the latest version, which is currently v27.8.1? If the issue persists, it would be helpful if you could share the crash report using the email address you logged on to this community for quick tracking. This information will assist us in further investigating and resolving the problem.

Thank you for your patience, and we're here to assist you further.

Best,

Anshul Saini
