I've just updated Illustrator to the latest version (27), suddenly keyboard shortcuts (F1, F2..) that I've assigned to custom actions I made aren't working. I could apply the actions using the play button in the actions panel, but not through the shortcuts.
I don't know what was the problem, this could also be related to the keyboard I use (Logitech MX Mechanical mini) that uses Logitech options app to apply the keyboard shortcuts. I saved the actions i had, deleted them, then loaded them again and it worked, although it's not working through a macro key on the keyboard that I assigned to it before (Which used to work) but I guess that's more of a logitech issue. I will let you know if that issue is fixed as well
I did, they said it'll be adressed in the next update. Seems that this is the case everytime we have a major release. Gotta live with it.

Hi @Mahmood Zidan,
We are sorry to hear about the trouble. Would you mind checking if you are able to reassign the shortcuts using Action options, and would it be possible for you to check if this is still working in v26.5 or not? Also, please confirm if you have chosen the option to retain old preferences while updating to v27.
We are here to help. We just need more information.
Thanks & Regards,
Anshul Saini

Glad to hear that reloading the action worked for you, @Mahmood Zidan. You may reach out to Logitech and let us know what they say about this and if it starts working in the future using the Macro key.
Please feel free to reach out if you run into any other issues or queries in the future. We'd be happy to help.
Thanks & Regards,
