ILLUSTRATOR 28 Onwards Constantly Crashing.

Hey Adobe,

 

First you runied Acrobat with this nonsense upgrade and UI, completely un useable. Had to revert back to the old version and decided after a year to do the upgrade for Illustrator 28.5 from 27.5 as every time we upgrade to 28. anything it doesnt work.

 

All of the Illustrator versions 28 are not useable at all. From 28 to 28.5 it's useless. One problem after another. Always crashes, hangs, hangs then wont open, or opens then becomes non responsive. The amount of times this goes on is ridiculous. Have revererted back to version 27.9 after staying on 27.5 for over a year due to contant problems with Illustrator doing this. Have applied all Windows updates and done everything possible to fix it but it will not work. The mouse goes invisible while using it, or Illustrator wont open or it will hang, or it becomes unresponsive or simply crahses when trying to save work. Pathetic.

 

The amount of lost prodcutivity and lack of access to the new features is really not good enough. 

It's time to get back to core business and sort out AI.

What are your system hardware details (CPU, graphics board, amount of RAM, etc)? Do you have any other periphreals attached to the computer, such as a Wacom graphics tablet?

No Wacom. Processor AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor, 3401 Mhz, 16 Core(s), 32 Logical Processor(s)

How much RAM does the computer have? What kind of graphics accelerator is installed? Is the graphics board running the latest driver? NVidia released an update for its drivers in the last day or two.

Hey thanks for the note, the issue is that this has been an ongoing problem with every release for v28 onwards. The amount of tiem this has wasted is ridiculous, i'm not going to waste any further time trouble shooting.
