fonts stopped live activating in this version for me, have to restart the program to reload the font list after activating in suitcase. rolling back to previous version for now.

Same here. This version crashes a lot, especially under MacOS Tahoe. At least it has for me! I've had to re-install it at least five times just to get it to work for a day. Then the next time I open it, I get the spinning wheel of death.

Patterns revert to original orientation and scale when creating new boxes - transform pattern tiles is on and does nothing. This was a problem in the previous version and still remains. Everytime i create a new rectangle with a pattern I have to reset the graphic style to make patterns transform normally.

Save and Export panels are also frequently crashing/closing immediately upon opening.

Patterns in Live Shapes without strokes show this problem.
As a workaround: Object > Shape > Expand Shape (you can make it a shape again after scaling).

Or give it a stroke, scale it and remove the stroke.

Sorry if any of them cause you to lose money, time, or both. We're having a ball over here as we vibe code all the stability out of Illustrator, knowing full well there is no alternative to using this now defective product.
