Question

Illustrator adding white fringe to imported photo

I typically don't have this problem, but this image seems to have a recurring issue. I have removed the white fringe in photoshop, but when I import the image to Illustrator, for some reason the fringe is still there? The first photo is the image in photoshop, the second is in Illustrator. It is the same image file, I don't understand why this is happening. Any and all help is appreciated, thanks!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this. In addition to questions asked earlier, I'd appreciate if you can share your export & import workflow(from Photoshop to Illustrator) with us. You may share a small video of your workflow with us for better understanding.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Ashutosh

Can you provide the image itself (as png-24 for example)?

Which file format is it?

Do you resize the image?

Does it get better in GPU preview mode?
