Illustrator and RStudio's ggplot 2: How do you create your stunning data visualizations?
Hi. In a new job I'm working with quantitative scientists to disseminate their research. I have research experience with RStudio and ggplot2 myself - and I'm also a graphic designer, but the two fields are unrelated in my current skill set. I now wonder if anyone in here have a good workflow for designing beautiful data visualiations in Adobe Illustrator based on the output from, for example, ggplot2?
By no means am I wedded to R or ggplot2. If you know of other apps, services or R packages that can help me render, for example, scatter plots with many data points, in a prettier way than what I've so far seen from statistical computing environments, those suggestions would also be heartily welcome.
Best,
Christian
