Dear Adobe Community, I'm writing to express my confusion and frustration regarding the availability of Illustrator and InDesign beta versions for ARM64 systems. Adobe recently announced the release of Illustrator Beta for Windows ARM devices with Qualcomm SD X-Elite processors. However, it seems this release is far more limited than the announcement suggests. After investigating, I've discovered what appears to be a regional restriction on these betas, though this isn't mentioned anywhere in the official communication. When checking the "Do Adobe apps work on Microsoft Copilot+ PCs?" page, setting my region to the United States shows Illustrator and InDesign as available in beta. However, changing the region to Germany, Switzerland, France, or Italy removes this information, replacing it with a vague "available from the end of July 2024." I'm perplexed and disappointed by Adobe's lack of transparency, especially for a company with 40 years of experience. Clear communication with customers should be a priority, not an afterthought. My frustration deepened after contacting Adobe support. Instead of providing a straightforward answer about potential regional restrictions, I received vague and unsatisfactory responses. They suggested that as beta apps, they might not always be available - despite the fact that they haven't been available even for a second since the announcement. The support staff's dismissive attitude, telling me to "just wait," was particularly disheartening. Is it really so difficult to provide clear, simple information? Why should customers have to play detective to find basic details about product availability? Adobe, your products are excellent, but your customer communication leaves much to be desired. A little transparency would go a long way in maintaining customer trust and satisfaction. I'd appreciate any insights from the community or, preferably, a clear statement from Adobe about the actual availability of these betas across different regions. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
