Illustrator Beta missing from ARM64 systems

Explorer ,
Oct 26, 2025 Oct 26, 2025

Sometime in the last couple of months the beta for Illustrator is no longer available to ARM64 devices. If you previously had it installed, it can no longer be updated and if you happen to remove it, you can't re-install it. There was zero communication about this change, so I would appreciate some insight as to when we can expect it back.

Hello @devina86956525,

Thanks for reaching out. Could you confirm the version of the OS installed on your device, your machine specs (CPU/GPU/Memory) and a screenshot of the error message when trying to install Illustrator, so I can check this with the team?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi there - I am running Windows 11 25H2 and I am using a Snapdragon X Elite with the X1-85 Adreno GPU and 32GB RAM. Keep in mind there is NO error you just can't see it in Creative Cloud Desktop any more - it's gone.

Hi @devina86956525,

Thanks for confirming those details. I reached out to the product team, and they’re currently checking this. They've asked whether you're able to see the Beta apps tab in the Creative Cloud Desktop app at all, or if it's just that the Illustrator Beta build doesn't appear there. Could you please confirm that for us?

Looking forward to the update.

Abhishek

On my ARM system, I do not see the "Pre-release" tab for software. On my x64 systems signed into the same account, I do see the "Pre-release" tab.

In both of these instances Creative Cloud was installed directly from the website, so these are not pre-packaged via the admin console to disable beta access.

Hello @devina86956525,

Thanks for sharing the details. Could you confirm if the Beta tab is also available in the Creative Cloud Desktop app? If not, try the suggestions shared in this help article (https://adobe.ly/4oCoWwc) and let us know if they help.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi there - I am using the desktop app exclusively. Like I said, I've tried all of those suggestions plus using CC cleaner and removing CC Desktop and re-installing it and I still do not see the "pre-release" tab on my ARM64 system. I can see it fine on my x64 system with the same account.
