Illustrator brush stroke not continuous

Community Beginner ,

Hello, I'm having an issue while using Illustrator brushes. When I create a simple shape and apply a brush to it (as pictured), the stroke gets thinner at some point (usually at the "end" of the shape). Is there any way to make it keep the same stroke size through the whole shape outline? I hope the question was clear, English is not my native language; apologies in advance.Screenshot_5.jpg

The brush you have applied, an Art Brush, tapers from one end to the other. and will do so on any path. You can select the basic uniform stroke in the Brushes panel, Control panel, or Properties panel and set whatever stroke weight you want, or select a different brush that has the characteristics you want from the Brushes Library Menu at the bottom left of the Brushes panel. Or you can create your own brush. Search for Brushes in the Help menu for information on how brushes work and how to create them.
