Illustrator Calligraphy Brush Pressure Pen not working

When trying to create a new caligraphy brush in Illustrator I do the following;

-New Brush

-Calligraphy Brush

-Size 9 [Pressure] Variation 9

When using the created brush the pressure does not work at all, instead draws a regualr line as if using a mouse with no variations.

This is not a wacom problem as the tablet works perfectly fine when I try to do the same brush prefference in Photoshop. How do I fix this in my illustrator? Is there some kind of option that i do not have turned on?

Please help!

I have tried both Illustrator 2019 & 2020.

I have the latest driver, to be sure I also contacted wacom and made sure everything is up to date. It works with photoshop but not with illustrator.

Is this Mac OS? You need to check if Illustrator is allowed to do things on your computer.

If you open the Wacom Desktop Center you access to all the details that you can provide:

Intuos Pro M (MTH-660)

Driver v. 6.3.37-3

What is missing is you windows version:

Please go to Settings>System>About.

(e.g. mine is 2040, Buils 19033.1)

Have you checked the settings in the WAcom Tablet proprties (proPen 2 on All applications) Dont check Compatibility with older apps in Options.

And back to Windows>Home>Devices>Pen&Windows ink the first two checkboxes are checked the other two NOT.

Whick numerical version is Illustrator (Help>About)?

Try to reset Preferences, It may be the easy answer. Please confirm if that solves the problem.

(I am currently testing that brush on current Illustrator on Windows 10 with that tablet)

Settings is correct.

Illustrator Version: 24.0.1

I have reseted my preffrence file by renaming it, still no changes.

Im sure my tablet is working properly and is connected to my computer, because the same option works in photoshop. Illustrator is the only app that gives me trouble.... I need this fixed asap as I have work to do. PLEASE HELP!

Im willing to give you acces to my teamviewer to see if you can do anything yourself.
