Illustrator CC 2017 VERY SLOW and NOT RESPONDING on 15" Macbook Pro 2015

I have verry serious problems with illustrator on my 2015 Macbook Pro 15 inch with the highest specs (2.8 GHz CPU, External graphics, 16 GB RAM...). I expected it to run like a beast since only the 27 inch iMac has better benchmark results. I noticed that illustrator was running very very very slow on it, honestly my old Air was running probably even faster that this pro. I tried to see what system Monitor app shows when illustrator is running and i noticed that CPU was never used more than 15% / 20% and showed AI not responding. I thought there are some settings in AI that limit the CPU usage but did not find anything. It is very strage because I know this is a very powerful computer and everyone is impressed by its performance and i'm just waiting 5 minutes to open a 20MB file in AI.

Can you provide any more detail on when this is running slow. During opening, saving, or even just moving a rectangle around not the screen. Did this ever run at a normal speed or did this situation recently arise.

    1. go to adobe cloud and check that no other downloads are happening
    2. 2. Rest your OOBE  - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-app-doesnt-open.html

    Mac

    3. run disk utility on your drive to fix permission and errors. You may have to restart  your mac with Command R  (recovery mode) to fix the disk.

    4. In safari  Command  comma privacy tab  and flush your cookies.
