Illustrator CC 2025: Fonts werden automatisch ersetzt – Layouts zerstört

Wir arbeiten seit über 15 Jahren professionell mit Illustrator und anderen Adobe-Programmen.
Seit CC 2025 beobachten wir massive Probleme im Produktionsalltag:

1.     Fonts werden automatisch ersetzt, sobald Illustrator eine Schrift nicht lokal findet.

o   Statt einer klaren Warnung (wie früher in InDesign) greift Illustrator ungefragt auf Adobe Fonts oder ähnliche Systemschriften zurück.

o   Das führt zu Layoutverschiebungen, falschem Kerning und im schlimmsten Fall zerstörten Druckdaten.

2.     Deaktivierte Adobe Fonts springen wieder an.
Selbst wenn man in der Creative Cloud App „Schriften aktivieren“ ausschaltet, sind am nächsten Tag die Cloud-Fonts wieder aktiv.

3.     Nutzung auf zwei Rechnern (z. B. Studio + Homeoffice):
Seit September 2025 muss man sich jedes Mal auf einem Gerät abmelden, um am anderen arbeiten zu können. Das ist im Alltag schlicht unpraktikabel.

Wir sind seit 15 Jahren treue Adobe-Kunden, aber diese Entwicklung ist extrem frustrierend.
Frage an Adobe und die Community:

·        Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, das automatische Font-Matching dauerhaft abzuschalten?

·        Wird Adobe wieder eine echte Warnfunktion (wie in InDesign) einbauen?

·        Warum wurden die Lizenzen für Mehrfachgeräte so verschlechtert?

Das aktuelle Verhalten wirkt für Hobby-Nutzer vielleicht „bequem“, ist aber für Profis im Bereich Packaging/Druckdaten schlicht untragbar.

Thanks for sharing such detailed feedback. I understand how disruptive this can be in a production setup. To get more clarity, could you confirm the OS and the exact Illustrator version you are using (for example, 29.6, 29.7, 29.7.1, 29.8, etc.) and let me know if the issue happens consistently across different files or only with certain fonts? It would also help to know whether the files are being placed from a local drive, network storage, or cloud location.

If you are not on the latest version, please update to 29.8 and check if that helps. In the meantime, try signing out and back into Creative Cloud, and clear your system font cache by following the steps in this guide: https://adobe.ly/3UYLoTx. If possible, please share a sample affected file and screenshots that show the difference before and after the fonts are replaced. On the licensing part, you can install Adobe applications on more than one computer, activate them (sign in) on two, but use them on only one computer at a time. To activate apps on a third machine, you’ll need to deactivate (sign out) on one of the two current computers first. You can check your activated devices here: Activated devices
