Illustrator CC crashing

I just got a new hard drive put in my computer. Now illustrator keeps crashing. I try and open a document that worked fine 2 days ago, but now it takes forever to open, some fonts aren't recognised (different ones each time) and before I can do anything it crashes. I have reinstalled it and it still doesn't work.

Sorry to hear about this. Would you mind sharing the version of the OS & Illustrator?
I agree with Monika. Please use Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to remove the existing installation of the app and reinstall once done.

Did you re-install the application or did you migrate them?

Possibly you need to re-install.
