Illustrator charging credits for print bleeds

Bright red stars, error message:

"Print Bleed extends graphic to bleed using generative Al and uses 1 credit per generation, unless you have a plan with unlimited access. You can turn it on or off in Preferences."

I don't need AI to set a print bleed, can do that myself, and do not have "preferences" in illustrator. Do have settings. I did not ask AI to set my print bleed so don't feel I should be charged for it. Please advise where to find and shut this off so I'm not being charged.

Thanks!

@TwoSteppers It's a new feature that definitely caused some confusion and frustration due to its prominent placement, but thankfully, Adobe has provided a way to disable it for those who prefer the traditional workflow. Make sure your Adobe Illustrator is updated to the absolute latest version. Adobe released an update specifically to address this issue and add the option to turn it off. Go to your Creative Cloud desktop app and check for updates for Illustrator.

Once Illustrator is updated, open the application. Go to your Preferences, Command K (MAC) Control K (PC); In the "General" preferences, you should now see an option that says something like "Show 'Print Bleed' generative AI button on Bleed" or similar wording. Uncheck this box. Confirm: Click "OK" to apply the changes. After doing this, the bright red AI print bleed button should no longer appear when you're working with documents that have bleed settings. You can continue to set your bleed manually through File > Document Setup as you always have, without any AI interference or credit charges.

And even if you can't turn off that button, you will not be charged for creating bleed your way. You will only be charged when you use generative AI to generate bleed.

Appreciate the heads up, good to know. The note associated with the starred box, however, stated AI would do the bleed and I'd be charged unless I had an unlimited plan. Since I'd previously set the bleed myself I was confused why I'd be charged.
