Hello, this is probably going to be stupid, but maybe someone here will be willing to help me. At work, I mentioned that I sometimes draw something digitally, and suddenly they rushed at me asking if I would do the graphics for next year's Easter collection. Making it normally colored probably isn't such a problem, but for me, a figure that is printed in gold is a problem. They gave me the information what pantone did they use. However, I read that adobe works with pantone only when you purchase pantone, the application/access of which is a problem for many people. Is there any alternative to create a good background for such a print? Alternatively, can I ask for a how-to tutorial, but for a moron? My English is not very good. Thank you very much.IMG_20240607_133547.jpgIMG_20240607_133600_1.jpg

If you need this printed in a Pantone gold metallic, all you need is a spot colour with the correct name and some communication with the printer about their expectations.

If you need it to look like a mockup of a metallic, reflective gold surface, that's a different question.

Probably the first one? They also send me this file in png. Maybe I can just copy the color in cmyk and give info about what result they want to the printer?

A PNG does not sound like a suitable file format. For stuff such as this, the first thing any professional will do is contact the printer and ask them exactly what file specifications they need.

Alright. Thank you very much. I will try and get the contact of the printer so I can ask him what he needs. 🙂
