illustrator consumes a lot of RAM +15gb

I have open Illustraitor and the memory goes up and ups without even using it, it stops as if it had no stop.

I don't understand what happens

We are sorry for the trouble. This doesn't seem like an unexpected behavior. Would you mind trying the steps suggested in this community post (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator/resolve-slow-performance-and-unexpected-behaviors-in-illu...) and see if that helps?

If it doesn't, would you mind confirming if this is happening while a specific file was opened or if it is even happening in a blank document as well? Also, would you mind confirming the file's location along with a screenshot of your System & OS details?
