Illustrator crashes as soon as I click on the "Colour field options" field in the colour fields.

Illustrator version 28.5.0

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Illustrator and Illustrator still crashes when using the "colour swatch options" in the colour swatches. I am now working with Illustrator version 28.4.1 again. Does anyone have the same problem?

Luckily it is working fine in the current prerelease and beta versions.

I can repeat that:

Select a color swatch in the Swatches panel.

Click the Swatch Options button at the bottom of the Swatches panel.

Result: Crash

Thanks for the tip. However, I do not work with the beta versions for customer work. This was recommended in an adobe live stream.

I just mentioned it to give hope for the future 🙂

Hallo Monika. Ja, es passiert auch in einer neuen Datei und das Farbmanagement habe ich über all die Jahre immer gleich eingerichten. Oder hast du da einen Tipp was hier falsch gemacht werden kann.

Richtig falsch sind vor allem 2 Dinge:

"Illustrator 6 emulieren"

Ein Monitorprofil als RGB-Arbeitsprofil

Alles andere ist diskutabel.

Was genau passiert denn?

Du aktivierst ein Farbfeld und rufst die Optionen auf?

Was genau für ein Farbfeld ist das?
