Illustrator crashes while importing SVG file exported from XD

I'm trying to import an exported SVG file from Adobe XD. Everytime I try to use it in illustrator or open it wiht illustrator, it crashes.

 

Is there someone who knows what causes the crash?

    Whenever I have an issue with an svg file I open it in Inkscape first, and do a save as (default setting). I don't use often or know much about svg, so your mileage may vary, but that's always worked for me. (Inkscape is free).

    Hi, what version of Adobe Illustrator are you using? Does this problem also occur with importing other file types?
