Illustrator created pdf missing elements

Question

Hello,I created a PDF file in Illustrator using multiple artboards—something I do regularly. However, with this particular file, I'm encountering an issue. When I open the PDF, I can see all the elements correctly. But when I open it in Illustrator, only the contents of the first three artboards are visible.I didn’t have any issues saving the file, and I’ve worked with larger files before without problems. This is the first time I’ve encountered something like this.I really need to modify the file, but this issue with Illustrator is preventing me from doing so. Is there any workaround or solution you can suggest?Thank you!

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble. Would you mind checking the below?

1. Make sure you see the artboard(s): View > Show Artboards (if they are hidden).

2. To create an artboard that has all your elements:

3. Select > Select All

4. Object > Artboards > Fit to Selected Art.

If that doesn't help, please tell us the details of your operating system and the version of Illustrator installed on your machine.
