Hi All,

I'm having the following prob:

Downloaded the old Java Script version to be able to run CS on my new notebook Mac OSX 10.13.2.

Photoshop and Dreamweaver runnuing without probs, but AI is just opening (no error warning from system) and not working.

Furthermore, I can't close the programme anymore.

Anyone bumping into the same prob and may be able to help?

Thanks a mill for any support!!

your os is not compatible with cs3.

that said, you could try to reset your preferences :  http://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html

I apologize ahead of time, but I have to ask this.

Why would anyone expect a application that was introduced over a decade ago to work on any recent operating system?

    I checked out RoaringApps.com (https://roaringapps.com/apps ). There is no Data for CS3, but CS2 and CS4 don't work

Even if it does seem to work, can you really be sure that the files you're creating are going to be 100% OK?

i've never seen anyone indicate that illustrator CS3 could work on OS 10.13. CS4, 5, and 6 possibly with tinkering and issues, but not 3.

Thanks so much for your help! Unfortunately, I can not open Illustrator at all and therefore have no chance to change my settings...
